We are 5 months into a year of travel and this home was a perfect get away for us. It offered privacy, a spectacular view, sunsets and sunrises, games, and a quaint, cozy, cottage living space.

For over a month we enjoyed days of not going anyway but into the avocado orchard, walking into the local village; we also explored the area around. There is so much to discover. The owners (Ramon and Esther) and the property manager ( Colin ) offered ideas of what to do and see, and were always readily available when and if needed (even Christmas day!).

Things to consider -would be faint of heart drivers, the road up to the location does take some getting use to, but after driving it 2 or 3 times, it was familiar and we used the dirt road/side road more and eventually ventured up and over the mountain. It’s a must do.

As it was the colder months, the wood fire place was efficient at keeping the home warm. Wood was purchased at the local wood supply store .

We would recommend this place to others looking for rural authentic Spanish living. The owners are very approachable and work to make the stay homey and comfortable.
